Geode

Having just made a crystal, I decided that my next object would be a geode, as it provided for an interesting challenge when it came to efficient ways to deal with the UVs, the lighting conditions for the render, and was a canvas I could apply a new smart material I was working on onto (rock lined with veins of iron ore). I am not 100% happy with how the mesh itself came out as it could use some more edge refinement, but I'm moving on for now to tackle new challenges.

3ds Max used for all modeling, Substance Painter used for all materials work.
